I was the victim of shoddy workmanship and blatant dishonesty on his part. From the start of the consultation, I asked Jacques Lanners how much the scaling procedure would cost. His initial response was evasive, claiming the costs would be covered by insurance. However, when I explained that I was not a Swiss resident and was on vacation, he showed obvious hesitation. Despite this, I had already missed a previous appointment and had made the effort to travel from Sierre to sa Gampel for a second chance. He finally agreed to do the scaling, but it was a real disaster. The amount of time spent on the procedure was shocking. Barely 10 minutes for what should have been a thorough and thorough job. Worse still, he didn't offer me the option to check the result in a mirror, which was a clear red flag. When Jacques Lanners informed me that everything was over, I was stunned by the speed and lack of attention given to my case. In addition, he charged me 100 francs claiming that I did not have much tartar, even though I saw for myself in the rearview mirror of a car that nothing had been done. I immediately expressed my disappointment and dissatisfaction with Jacques Lanners. But instead of being professional and rectifying the situation, he treated me with contempt and tried to convince me that the bar glue was responsible for what I perceived as tartar. It was nothing more than a blatant lie to try to justify his incompetence. Despite my request for rectification, he refused to correct his error and claimed to not have the necessary equipment. Exhausted by this experience, I quickly made an appointment with another dentist, who turned out to be a true professional. She took the time necessary to carry out a thorough and complete descaling, thus confirming my doubts about the shoddy work of Jacques Lanners. It was obvious that he did not care about the dental health of his patients and was only seeking to profit dishonestly. Finally, it is important to point out that when I asked Jacques Lanners how we were going to resolve the situation, he told me that he did not have time and simply left, without trying to resolve the problem. I therefore wish to alert anyone seeking quality dental care to avoid Jacques Lanners at all costs. His lack of transparency, negligence and blatant dishonesty make him an untrustworthy practitioner. Exercise caution and choose a competent and honest professional who will truly put the health and well-being of their patients first.
